UH's TCSAM picked
for federal research
The U.S. Department of Energy has selected the University
of Houston along with seven other universities to conduct research in the
field of high temperature superconductivity -- an area the Universityis
Texas Center for Superconductivity and Advanced Materials specializes in.
'Terry Scholars' branches out
to UH
The Houston-based Terry Foundation, which as served the
University of Texas and Texas A&M University, is expanding its prestigious
"Terry Scholars" scholarship program to award 16 UH freshmen in Fall 2004.
