TOP STORIES
Asbestos
contaminates R. Cullen
Lurking in the shadows of the mold that infected the
Roy G. Cullen Memorial Building after Tropical Storm Allison in 2001, a
new silent contaminate is now causing concern among faculty members --
asbestos.
What
happened to friends?
Friends. What are they good for? In some cases, absolutely
nothing.
Legacy
haunts UH golf
This is a story about shadows. The perception of the
shadow is an alluring, intoxicating one. It is one of relaxation and comfort.
Hawkins
'Best Of' an easy sedative
To the uninitiated, a glance at the cover of Sophie B.
Hawkins' Best of album may give a false impression. The front cover shows
Hawkins lying down in the middle of railroad tracks, holding a guitar in
a sweater and blue jeans. People unfamiliar with Hawkins' style of music
may get the idea that she is a folksy rocker along the lines of Lucinda
Williams or Sarah McLachlan. They would be wrong.
