New blood pumps All-Star game
It didn't end in a tie, so baseball commissioner Bud Selig must consider the American League's 7-6 win over the National League on Tuesday a success. Of course, few ever remember the outcome of an All-Star Game as much as they do the "moments."
 

New, old teams vie for agents
This NBA offseason has already been the most interesting one in years. Superstars (Jason Kidd), former superstars (Gary Payton and Alonzo Mourning) and some solid starters who can help get a team to the playoffs (P.J. Brown and Radoslav Nesterovic) are among others in the free agent pool.
 

Volleyball to battle USC on quest to 22
He's not that Bill Walton, but UH volleyball head coach Bill Walton will embark on his own long, strange trip as he tries to lead UH to its 22nd consecutive winning season.
