Mayoral candidates
introduced on PBS forum
With canned speeches, 15-second sound bites and negative
campaigns, candidates often leave voters disheartened and with little solid
information when time comes to cast the ballots. But, as part of the New
Patriotism Project, Houston PBS and the League of Women Voters will present
the first of three ground breaking broadcasts Tuesday to introduce the
2004 Mayoral candidates.

The Mississippi Delta -- Millions of Americans clog the
nation's highways in July as they begin their summer vacations, that unique
period when the whimsical rules and the best-laid plans become instant
casualties of the quixotic notion.
Forum to discuss Spring '04 tuition

The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs
and the Student Government Association will host a campus forum today to
discuss Spring 2004's designated tuition.
Corrections
In Wednesday's edition, the page one story "Pesky mold
removed from R. Cullen" misspelled the name of Dave Irvin, vice president
for plant operations.
In Wednesday's edition, Matthew Levine's byline was misspelled
