Barry on warpath
to bury Babe Ruth's legacy
During the All-Star break, Barry Bonds made comments
that seemingly showed nothing but disdain for one George Herman Ruth. With
644 career home runs Bonds should pass the Babe (714) for second place
all-time by the end of the 2004 season. But to Bonds, that day couldn't
come soon enough.
Four score for UH in preseason
Three members of former head coach Kim Helton's last
recruiting class in 1999, seniors Rex Hadnot, Brandon Middleton and Stephen
Cucci were named to the Preseason First-Team, All-Conference USA team as
selected in a poll from the head football coaches in the conference.
Ex-Coogs sign with pros
After being in charge of the Cougar defense for much
of the past two seasons, departed safety Hanik Milligan has a new home
-- fittingly enough with the San Diego Chargers.
