OPINION
Do not feed the
celebrities
I have noticed the people who get the most attention
and the most coverage, or time, in the limelight are those who really haven't
done anything.
Don't try the habanero sauce
Can you believe it? Summer's almost over. I've got two
weeks to pack everything back up in an order that resembles something mobile,
and get it back to my room. On a better note, I'll be taking pictures again,
and football season is just around the corner, so it will probably be a
good thing.
Harvey Milk is a true haven for
GLBT students
The Daily Cougar's staff editorial (Wednesday, Opinion)
on the Harvey Milk School in New York, although similar to my initial reaction,
presented a rather uninformed version of what this school is actually setting
out to accomplish. The goals listed on HMS' Web site, http://www.hmi.org/,
seem to contribute to, more than harm societal progress.
