'First-years' show
diversity
Taking to heart the fact that theyire one of the most
diverse student organizations on campus, the first-year pharmacy students
held an International Day Thursday to celebrate their varied heritages.
Facility, services open
The new Center for Students with Disabilities opened
with
an official ribbon-cutting Thursday, offering more service and an improved
environment in honor of the "father of the disability movement," UH alumnus
Justin Dart Jr.
SPC leaders meet
Despite staff shortages and a learning curve for new
recruits, Student Publications leaders said they had strong progress in
their monthly reports to the Student Publications Committee meeting Thursday.
Officials look into UC fire cause
A minor fire in the UC Wednesday night caused the
building to be evacuated and has officials wondering how the blaze started.
