Cougars try to
get on a roll
Louis Truscottis last-second layup gave UH a thrilling,
come-from-behind 76-75 victory at Southern Miss on Saturday, but only one
thing made his heroics possible: defense.
Swim Queen
Compassionate, hard working and generous.These are some
of the words used to describe senior swimmer Falon Hopkins. Sheis been
on the Cougar swimming and diving team since her freshman year.
Pakhalina wins her 5th C-USA
DOW this season
Conference USA may as well keep a ready supply of Diver
of the Week awards on hand for Yulia Pakhalina.The senior won her fifth
C-USA DOW award of the season and 10th of her career.
Foley wins C-USA's Co-TPOW
The Cougar tennis team thoroughly smashed Texas
Pan-American on Saturday. UH only lost 11 total games in winning all nine
matches against the Lady Broncs.
Nation's best play for top spot
No. 1 versus No. 2. It just doesnit get any better than
that.Add a record-breaking win streak and two of the nationis best players
(who will likely guard each other at some point in the game) and everything
is perfectly set for one of the best games of the season.
