Soundtrack flows with action

For a music lover, the new Biker Boyz Soundtrack Something 2 Ride 2 was a delicacy. Itis not often that a production is released with music thatis meant to please everyone. This soundtrack contains everything from heavy metal to soft slow jams, and includes some pretty interesting collaborations. 

When was the last time you heard of Metallica doing a song with Ja Rule or Swizz Beatz? Probably never, right? Metallica laid down a track with both of the artists, and itis hot. In the words of Ja Rule from the song "We Did It Again," "itis a little rock and roll, mixed with a little bit of hip hop soul." The song actually sounds like two fused together, so everyone is bound to like it whether theyire a rocker or rapper at heart.

Another interesting aspect of the soundtrack was a song recorded by Mos Def. Usually you can catch Mos Def rapping, but this time he tries something different and brings forth a real surprise with a song entitled "Kalifornia." 

Entertainment Tonight Online said, "Mos Def shines on this song, as he both sings and raps with a comfortable laid back style." 

"Kalifornia" contains lyrics taken from the hook of "California Love" recorded by Dr. Dre and Tupac Shakur, although Mos Defis version has an interesting twist.

Donit think this soundtrack is just packed with rap and heavy metal, thereis also some smooth grooves. Meshell Ndegeocello provides a break from the fast paced party music with her contribution to the album, "Liliquio Moon." Sounding like something along the lines of an India Arie or Lauryn Hill song, this track is the entrance into the mellow section of the soundtrack. Itis a soft tune with a relaxing tone. "Liliquio Moon" adds something that usually isnit found on an action movie soundtrack.

With the sounds of artists from Redman to Ron Isley, and Papa Roach to Mystic, this soundtrack proves to be "Something 2 Ride 2." If the album is any indication of what Biker Boyz is going to be like, this is definitely a movie that everyone should see when it hits theaters today. The Biker Boyz movie soundtrack hits stores January 28.
