Cougars go on the air with Rice series Cougar Sports Services It wonit be easy listening, but Cougar fans will be able to listen to
UH baseball games on FM radio beginning with the 2003 season. UH signed
a four-year deal with KAXF-FM 88.3 va ISP Sports.

The station will air 47 of the Cougarsi 56 regular season games and all postseason games. C.B. Devoy will announce while former UH pitcher Nick Torina provides color commentary. Fans will have to wait until the Silver Glove series against Rice begins Feb. 18 before they can start listening to the Cougars on the radio. The annual Silver Glove Series pits Houston against Rice in five regular season games. The Cougars get home-field advantage this season, with three of the games being played at Cougar Field. The series will kick off with a bit of a ceremony Feb. 11 at the annual Silver Glove Series luncheon at Frankie Mandolais on Kirby Street. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. Seating is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of the team and coaching staff will be present. Head coach Raynor Noble will address the audience.
