504 Boyz, Baby from 'Cash Money' drop party albums

Christena Christman

Master P. and Baby from Cash Money Millionaresi new albums are making a positive impact on the rap industry. Both of these albums focus on dancing more than violence.

Louisiana native Percy Miller better Known as Master P. is at it again, with the up coming release of his new album The New No Limit Records Presents 504 Boyz.

P shows that even through the reconstruction of groups, members leaving personal squabbles etc., that the show must still go on. This highly anticipated album gets a whole new breed of "no limit soldiersi ready for war.

The first single of the new album was a back to school anthem titled "Tight Whips," which had everyoneis head banging and bass booming. This song gave P a chance to show the world his new rap army while still showing off his comfortable living. Collaborating on this album are veteran rappers Master P and his brother Silkk tha Shocker, and five new rappers that are as hot as the cajun food they eat.

Starting off this new line up is Magic, a muscular man known for his white contact lenses, his style of rapping is some what raspy. Then there is Choppa, who is already making a name for himself with the first single of his solo album Choppa Style, which can be heard on almost any hip hop station and club across America.

Following Choppa there is Krazy and Currensy, two rappers with milder voices that are comparable to Silkk when he first came on the scene. Rounding out the group last but definitely not least is T-Bo. He is strikingly similar to another rapper making headlines today, Eminem.

The new 504 boys have advantages the old 504 boys didnit, because of this, their style and content of rapping is a lot different. Each member is unique, and although theyive had rough times they rap mostly about fancy cars and big houses, giving hip hop a chance to have fun and generate more dancing then violence.

Baby from Cash Money Millionares is ready again with his solo project titled ird Man. It seems like it was just yesterday when the Cash Money Millionares burst onto the hip hop scene with rap classics like "I need a Hot Girl" and "Everybody Get Your Roll On." Now, Bryan Willams, nicknamed Baby because when he came home from the hospital he didnit have a name, has definitely made a name for himself.

One of the rap industries wealthiest "ballers" has mastered his solo album. When Baby first came on the music scene he wasnit interested in rapping he simply wanted to make enough money to move himself and his family out of the Magnolia Housing projects of Louisiana.

He and his brother put together a group with friends and hunted down producer Manny Fresh and from there the rest is hip-hop history.

Though Babyis focus was primal on producing and managing he decided to rap when his group began to fall apart. He has now created one of the best and most anticipated albums of the year.

There have already been countless number one hits off his album including "Do That" a collaboration with P. Diddy and "What Happened To That Boy" which features the Neptunes and the Clipse.

There is no doubt this album wont be a successful as some as his late works. There are plenty of catchy lyrics and amazing beats that will make this one of the most sought after albums of 2003.
