Get interested: The Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society will hold a general interest meeting from noon to 2 p.m. in the fifth floor lounge, Agnes Arnold Hall.

Acid tests: The Department of Chemical Engineering will sponsor a free seminar, "Expanding the Scope of Protein Biosynthesis by Incorporation of Unnatural Amino Acids into Protein In Vivo," by the California Institute of Technologyis Pin Wang. Announcement

Culture club: The Sankofa Pan Afrikan Student Organization is presenting Afrikan Arts Movement 2003, a program offering Afrikan Dance (6 to 7 p.m.) Afrikan Centered Self Defense (7 to 9:30 p.m.) on Mondays and Capoeira de NiGolo (6:30 to 8 p.m.) on Wednesdays. Registration is available on the first day of each session. For more information about the sessions, which will be held in Multi-purpose Rm. 3, Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, call Funmilayo at 713-743-2814.

Correction

In the Page One story, "SGA gives nod to electronic voting" (News, Thursday), Cullen Newsom unintentionally gave The Daily Cougar false information. Electronic voting was used by Staff Council elections last year. The Daily Cougar regrets the error.
