Senior Ani Longoni was honored with the Conference USA Tennis Player of the Week award after dominating her Louisiana Tech opponent on Friday. UH won the match, 6-1.

The senior from Caracas, Venezuela, played the No.1 singles position for only the second time this season, defeating Louisiana Techis Saharai Uriarte 6-3, 6-3.

In doubles play, the communication major teamed with Cristina Flores at the No. 3 doubles spot to win 8-0 over Techis Danielle Landry/Morgan Majors.
