A woman's place
is on the course
For the first time, a woman will coach a Division I menis
basketball game. For the first time in 58 years, a woman will play in a
PGA event against male golfers.
Coogs drop close game in overtime
The Cougars snapped back from a 26-point loss to Louisville by returning
from a double-digit halftime deficit against Charlotte on Wednesday to
tie the game and send it into overtime.
Noble changes time of first
Silver Glove game
The UH baseball team wants to compete against other schools,
not against other UH programs. With that in mind, Cougar baseball head
coach Rayner Noble announced Wednesday he was moving up the start time
for Tuesdayis game against Rice to 3 p.m. to avoid a conflict with a menis
basketball game.
Cardinals on path to C-USA championship
Louisvilleis representing, and it just might be the best
team in college basketball. Houston isnit a powerhouse, but the Cardinalsi
26-point win Saturday and their 77-71 victory over Cincinnati on Feb. 5
propelled the team to the No. 2 spot on The Associated Press poll.
