Death penalty needs
reform
Todayis examination of the death penalty will focus mainly
on the way it should be used. For those who missed Thursdayis column on
capital punishment, this is part two: Part one was the theoretical justification
for its use.
Foods ads are taste pornography
The way food advertisers lust after our taste buds has
nothing to do with taste or hunger.
Opinions often not objective
I donit often do this -- talk about my section. I mean,
itis a little too self-referential for my style of doing things, but I
feel itis somewhat necessary since a lot of you seem to be having problems
with a fairly basic concept.
