slipping from UH's grasp
UH received another blow
to its chances Saturday, losing 71-65 to Texas Christian. Houston led almost
the entire game, but a late surge by TCU coupled with hot outside shooting
was too much for the Cougars to overcome.

basics Sunday to wrest Game 3 from Long Beach State 4-2 and avoid a three-game

junior Kristen Glowacz capped a six-run second inning against Villanova
on Saturday in the Cougars' last game of the Hyatt Regency Cougar Classic
at the Cougar Softball Complex.

victory at the Conference USA Track and Field Championships at Yeoman Field
House on Saturday.

team's highest finish ever.
