trying to balance demand, enrollment
Despite more stringent admissions
procedures, UH enrollment has reached an all-time high, leaving the question
of how to balance limited resources with the traditional mission of educating
the working man.

object to PGH polls, missing financial records
A total of five formal complaints, including
one dual complaint, were filed against the Student Voice and UH 4 U parties
in the first day of the Student Government Association general election,
Chief Election Commissioner Jason Short said.

voter errors cause problems on Wednesday
Although more than 1,000
votes were reportedly cast during the first day of the Student Government
Association general election Wednesday, several students reported having
problems voting online.
Gas
main rupture was not UH's fault
Students, faculty and staff
were made aware that progress comes at a price Wednesday morning when they
were directed away from Cullen Boulevard because of a gas leak that lasted
more than three hours.
NSM
graduation moved to May 16
The College of Natural Sciences
and Mathematics has moved its graduation ceremony to 2 p.m. May 16 at Hofheinz
Pavilion so graduates can invite more relatives and friends, NSM Assistant
Dean Laura Vailas said.
