OPINION
John
Kerry ready for a tough fight
Tuesday in Washington, D.C.,
amongst a sea of navy blue campaign signs, a 6-foot-4-inch, stoic, gray
haired man gave his victory speech, and became the Democratic nominee for
president. Exactly eight months to the day before the presidential election,
the fight for John Kerry's political life has begun, but his fight for
America began long ago.
Toeing
the line
"If Alysia (Minor) or Re'chard
(Thomas) make it into office, UH beware ... "
That quote, from Student
Government Association College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Senator
Ola Kareem, rocked the University Center Satellite's waxed floor beneath
me.
Gibson's
'Passion' doesn't promote hatred
There were quite a few times
during the The Passion of the Christ when the word "brutal" came to mind.
"God bless Mel Gibson" was what I thought, coming out of the screening.
