Quintanilla, UH
4 U sweep SGA election
UH 4 U's Jon Quintanilla will head
the 41st Student Government Association administration after claiming 51.6
percent of the 2,820 votes for SGA president in the SGA general election.
Search committee adds 2 candidates
Two more candidates have been named
for UH provost: Sharon Stephens Brehm, former chancellor of Indiana University
Bloomington, and Elizabeth Langland, dean of the Division of Humanities,
Arts and Cultural Studies at the University of California, Davis.

Party barred from campaigning
After receiving complaints about Student
Voice party members' campaign tactics during the Student Government Association
general election March 10 and 11, the SGA Election Commission said vice
presidential candidate Alysia Minor will be the only Student Voice member
allowed to campaign during the runoff election for SGA vice president. |
