UH escapes with win in 1st round
SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. -- Senior Nicole Oliver couldn't help the grin that split her face as she held the ball and let the last few seconds tick off the clock, sealing the Lady Cougars' first-ever victory in the NCAA tournament, a 62-47 win over Wisconsin-Green Bay on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
 

UH splits during break
The Boys of Summer broke even during Spring Break, losing two out of three games to No. 18 Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, Miss. after taking Game 2 in the Silver Glove Series against cross-town rival Rice, evening that series at one game apiece.
 

UH offense observes break
While the rest of the students were away on Spring Break, the Cougar softball team was busy playing four games on the road. Unfortunately for the Cougars, their offense seemed to take a break with the rest of the students.
 

Almazan, Kiess finish in top 10
The honors just keeping on piling up for Houston's dynamic duo of young divers.
 

Penders is not a shoe-in for top job
