Jackson puts on
mundane live show
The most disappointing thing a band
can do is not live up to its album in a live performance. On Monday at
Fat Cat's, The Sleepy Jackson did little to recreate the great sound of
its album Lovers with a performance that was little better than mediocre.

Free shows, variety bring Austin's
SXSW to close
AUSTIN -- The shows in Austin on
Wednesday and Thursday were only a taste of what South by Southwest had

of drinking or sitting through the day's forums, music lovers had their
chance to enjoy an endless amount of free showcases at SXSW.
Roll the dice at Hungry's
Hungry's Cafe and Bistro in the Rice
Village has been around since 1975 and is just as popular today with the
West University crowd as it ever was. But some glaring inconsistencies
make this fixture on the Village dining scene feel like a fledgling eatery
with many kinks to work out.
Willie Nelson does all a country
legend should

year's RodeoHouston, Austin outlaw Willie Nelson closed Houston's third-largest
rodeo ever Sunday with a relaxing performance that was more than welcomed
by the exhausted fans.
