Voice sanctions eased
After a three-hour preliminary hearing
Monday, the Student Government Association Election Commission revised
its campaign sanctions against Student Voice candidate Alysia Minor, choosing
to allow 100 Student Voice party members to help Minor campaign during
the SGA vice presidential runoff election Wednesday and Thursday.
Chartwells
leaves students hungry
Complaining about food is a great
college tradition, but after Spring Break, my gripe is the opposite: lack
of food. During the break, Chartwells closed most of their food outlets
on campus.
Penders
may be up to task of rebuilding
To me, Tom Penders is Dennis Rodman,
sans the wedding dress, tattoos and rebounding ability, although they do
share an affinity for odd hairstyles (Rodman's hair is multi-colored, Penders'
multi-mulleted).
Jackson
puts on mundane show
The most disappointing thing a band
can do is not live up to its album in a live performance. On Monday at
Fat Cat's, The Sleepy Jackson did little to recreate the great sound of
its album Lovers with a performance that was little better than mediocre.
