Student Voice sanctions
eased
After a three-hour preliminary hearing
Monday, the Student Government Association Election Commission revised
its campaign sanctions against Student Voice candidate Alysia Minor, choosing
to allow 100 Student Voice party members to help Minor campaign during
the SGA vice presidential runoff election Wednesday and Thursday.
Glass slipper off UH
SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. - In the end,
Chandi Jones simply couldn't do enough to will her team to a win. It took
the senior guard four years to get to the NCAA Tournament and a second-round
loss to No. 11 seed California-Santa Barbara was not in the plan.
Antel takes reins of CLASS as
dean
John J. Antel was named dean of the
College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences on March 15, having served
as the college's interim dean since July 2002.
SFAC recommends $8 student fee
hike
After nearly a month of hearings,
the Student Fees Advisory Committee decided to increase UH's Student Services
Fee to $150 per semester but maintain the base level of funding for the
2005 fiscal year.
First new hopeful to meet UH today
The first of two recently announced
provost candidates will meet the campus in an open forum this afternoon
at the University Hilton.
