Cougars enter C-USA stretch
The Cougars landed with a thud at the bottom of the slippery slope when Texas Tech nipped UH 12-11 Tuesday in the bottom of the ninth on a lead-off homerun, the second consecutive game that the Cougars surrendered the winning run in their opponent's final at bat.
 

UH gets down to business vs. Eagles
It took freshman pitcher Carla Kennimer to break the Cougars' three-game losing streak Saturday against Texas-Arlington, giving UH a 4-2 win, in Game 2 of a doubleheader. 
 

Paralympians example to all
Jacob Klementich is not normal. Most normal people haven't competed in Atlanta, Los Angeles and Barcelona. Most normal people haven't won medals. Most normal people haven't achieved anything close to what he has done.
 

March Madness a venue for miracles, underdogs
Sixteen teams remain, and though fans of Duke, Kansas and Illinois feel that making it to the second weekend of the NCAA tournament is more or less a birthright, fans of Xavier, Nevada and Alabama-Birmingham are ecstatic over their team's surprise Sweet Sixteen appearances.
