Huh?: The UH Department of Chemical Engineering will host Peter Strasser who will give a lecture titled "Rapid mapping of activity-stability-composition relationships for the discovery of improved fuel-cell catalysts" at 10:30 a.m. in Room W122-D3 in the Cullen College of Engineering. Volunteer: Students in Construction Related Industries will work with Habitat for Humanity from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. building homes for low-income families. To volunteer, contact Jay at (832) 605-9951.
 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Donate: The UH Allied Health Professions Society is collecting non-perishable food items through April 16 for the Houston Food Bank at the AHPS office in Old Science Building Room 120. For more information, contact Frances at (713) 743-3690 or ahps_uh@yahoo.com.

Mary's money: The UH Women's Association is accepting applications for the 2004-2005 Mary Harding Hoffman scholarships. Applications are due April 15.

Helping out: The provost's office is seeking applicants for its Disabilities Awareness Program. Students should apply before April 12, though applications will be accepted after that date. The first 20 people accepted to the program will get a $500 stipend. For more information, contact Mohamad at mhalawi@uh.edu.
