meetings end today
UH System vice chancellors will report
on the future of the System this morning in the final public hearing for
the UHS' strategic planning process.
A mixed reaction to UH tuition
hike
The UH System Board of Regents approved
increases in tuition and fees Systemwide on Thursday, meaning the cost
of an education at UH will rise by about 10 percent for a typical undergraduate
student in the fall.

UH faculty and student researchers
had the chance to showcase their cutting-edge work on topics ranging from
air pollution to heart disease Friday during the University's fifth annual
Research and Scholarship Day.

The Omicron Delta Kappa Society inducted
a new group of campus leaders Thursday, including Pharmacy Dean Sunny Ohia,

Campus Crime Update
Through an agreement with a private ranch, the University
will soon have a location for environmental studies aimed at protecting
natural resources and wildlife on the Texas coast.
