offers bocce ball with cold beer
Until you spot the neon sign in the
front window of Hans' Bierhaus, 2523 Quenby St., it's hard to think there's
even a bar there. After parking in the small lot across the street, you
have to walk around to the back of the building and enter through the slightly
dark beer garden.

fits Andrea just 'Wright'
From the plush vermilion seats of
the Wortham Theatre, the spotlights only illuminate the actors. Since her
first production in the fourth grade, Andrea J. Wright wanted to spend
the rest of her life bathed in that spotlight.

It might be hard to believe that a
girl who writes alt-folk songs does so because she wanted to be in a metal
band, but that is exactly why Annie Lin picked up a guitar almost four
years ago.
