When Kwong Lau announced to his physics
class that he accidentally posted 165 students' names and Social Security
numbers on the World Wide Web for more than two weeks, most of the students
in the class did not immediately react.
Committee elects
publication editors
The Student Publications Committee
on Thursday re-elected Matt Dulin editor in chief of The Daily Cougar for
the summer and fall and chose Katherine Mayse as the editor of the 2005
Houstonian yearbook.
Armed robber
strikes Sunday at Cullen Oaks
A weekend aggravated robbery near
the University campus has police on the lookout for another suspect. The
victim was seated in her vehicle adjacent to the north entry of the Cullen
Oaks apartments, 4600 Cullen Blvd., at 4:35 a.m. Sunday when a suspect
approached her, produced a semi-automatic handgun and demanded her purse. |
