looks at state tuition challenges
Despite increasing college tuition,
the key to closing gaps among communities is still to urge future generations
to earn a college degree, Don Brown, commissioner of the Texas Higher Education
Coordinating Board, said Monday during a panel discussion moderated by
state Rep. Scott Hochberg and state Sen. Rodney Ellis.
Pharmacy student
wins counseling competition
UH pharmacy student Michelle Edwards
took first place in the student patient counseling competition at the American
Pharmacists Association national convention, beating representatives from
87 pharmacy schools across the country.
Campus robbery
suspects nabbed
UH police have apprehended one suspect
in a series of aggravated robberies on campus, and another suspect turned
himself in to police.
