Beware
of umbrella aggression
The headlines of our newspapers are
painted with failure, terror and death, together picking up momentum and
spreading like a tremulous hurricane that rests its shrewd eye above America.
Who could forget UH's own skyrocketing tuition prices?

anti-porn thrust
And let's be honest, this power has
gone to our heads. So much so, that in the 1980s we started declaring war
on nouns. No longer satisfied with attacking tangible countries with borders
and capitals, we decided to assault nebulous things, like drugs and poverty.
Careers about
fulfillment, not cash
I am a pre-pharmacy major, and one
of the 1,500 or so students on campus hoping to one day become a pharmacist.
Unfortunately, the UH College of Pharmacy only admits around 110 students
each year.
