Smaller clubs offer
better bills
Live music in the summertime doesnit
have to be associated with lawn seats, overpriced band merchandise and
long bathroom lines -- there are plenty of worthy options this weekend
for patrons of smaller clubs.
Viewers should just say 'no' to
bad TV
It is hard to believe that many peopleis
idea of entertainment would be watching two spoiled rich girls act like
idiots in an unfamiliar setting, but sure enough, this concept is just
what the viewers ordered. And Fox will give them their second helping.
Anthology of hip-hop's greats
fails to represent
The soundtracks to McDonaldsi newest
commercials donit hurt hip-hop. The lyrics are simple, and the beats are
rudimentary. But any art form will enjoy a time of immense popularity,
and popularity comes with profit potential. Hip-hop will survive with or
without the favor of the public. What truly does hurt hip-hop though is
the blind ignorance of those who claim to represent it. Hip-O Records does
just that.
