Routt takes 2nd
in 200m national final
Earning NCAA All American honors for
two consecutive years is no easy feat, but junior Stanford Routt achieved
this after a solid finish this weekend at the Outdoor Track and Field Championships
in Austin on Friday.
Penders says new era on way
for Coogs
An exciting season is in the works
for the UH men's basketball team. Tom Penders announced in early June additions
to his staff that he hopes will make a significant difference in play this
season. Penders has already noted positive preseason changes, such as the
team boasting the most improved grade-point average of the Athletic Department
this past semester.
Rockets should wheel and deal
Making their first playoff appearance
in five years, the Houston Rockets have come a long way. But after their
short and not-so-sweet five-game showing, one thing is clear -- there is
still a long way to go. Thus the Rockets organization enters the NBA off-season
with many questions to answer, not the least of which has to do with their
roster.
