Young artists: The Blaffer Gallery will kick off its Summer Arts Workshops for children aged 6 to 12 with "Picture Perfect," a look at the patterns, lines and colors of Houston's urban landscape hosted by the artist David Waddell, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Blaffer.
