Local act creates
music with chaos
About four years ago, a bunch of guys
met on a bench in the Quadrangle. They bummed cigarettes off each other,
shared poop and sex jokes, and wasted time in Taub and Law halls, but eventually
got their act together and found new ways to pass the time.
They might be in Houston tonight
I remember sneaking into my oldest
sister's room and borrowing a black cassette tape with only two songs on
it ? "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" on one side and a remix of the song
on the other. I borrowed the tape so often that eventually I decided that
since she didn't ever notice it was missing that I could just keep it ?
so I did.
No shame in sacrificing sleep
for classics
When movie theaters, HBO and rentals
just can't satiate your cravings for a good film, it's time to curl up
with some kettle-cooked popcorn and exercise your right to watch-late night
movies.
Las Vegas offers fun, lung cancer
The heat is oppressive and dry, like
crawling inside a giant oven. Endless plumes of smoke engulf the hapless
wanderers, whose only desire is to find a drink of water and a place where
their money is accepted. |
