The following is a partial report of campus crime between July 8 and Tuesday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600.

Theft: 8 a.m. July 8, Cameron Building -- A staff member reported an unknown person(s) stole UH-owned furniture from a lounge area between 10 a.m. July 1 and 9 a.m. July 7. There was no damage or evidence of forced entry to the building.

Criminal mischief: 11:50 p.m. July 10, Parking Lot 1B -- A visitor reported an unknown person(s) damaged his parked, secured vehicle between 10 and 11:45 p.m.

Theft: 2:45 p.m. July 12, South Park Annex -- A staff member reported an unknown person(s) stole his personal portable band saw between June 29 and 2:40 p.m. July 12.

Burglary: 1:16 p.m. Tuesday, Houston Science Center, first floor -- A Coca-Cola service driver reported an unknown person(s) stole the money from inside a soda machine between 11:30 p.m. June 25 and noon July 9.

Warrant: 3:49 p.m. Tuesday, 3800 block of Wheeler Avenue -- A Cougar Place resident reported a visitor as a suspicious person, and the visitor was arrested on four warrants from the Bellaire Police Department.

Theft: 4:01 p.m. Tuesday, Science & Research I, fifth floor -- A student reported an unknown person(s) stole her laptop computer from an unsecured room between 3:15 and 4 p.m.
