Campus Crime Update

The following is a partial report of campus crime between July 13 and Thursday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600.

Disorderly conduct: 8:49 p.m. July 13, Campus Recreation & Wellness Center basketball court -- Two UH students were involved in a verbal confrontation that became physical. Both were issued county citations for disorderly conduct and one student was transported to the hospital for possible injuries.

Forgery: 10:44 a.m. July 14, Woodforest Bank -- Complainant reported a Texas Southern University student used lost or stolen checks to open an account and deposit money between 1:25 p.m. June 10 and sometime June 11. An investigation is under way.

Theft: 3:35 p.m. July 14, Student Service Center third floor -- Complainant reported an unknown person(s) stole money and property from her unattended wallet in a women's rest room between 2:30 and 3:25 p.m.

Burglary: 9:03 p.m. July 14, Parking Lot 19A -- Complainant reported an unknown person(s) shattered the driver's side window of his parked vehicle and attempted to steal the radio between 9:45 a.m. and 9:05 p.m.

Theft: 11:05 a.m. Thursday, Moores School of Music Building second floor -- Complainant reported the theft of her clarinet form an unsecured room between 10:45 and 11 a.m.
