Campus Crime Update

The following is a partial report of campus crime between July 16 and 20. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600.

Theft: 12:53 p.m. July 16, University Center second floor -- A UH faculty member reported an unknown person(s) stole a UH-owned laptop computer from an unattended, unsecured backpack between 6 and 9:30 p.m. July 15.

Theft: 8:46 p.m. July 16, Athletic/Alumni Center -- A visitor reported his unattended, unsecured cellular telephone was stolen between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m.

Burglary: 12:19 a.m. July 17, Parking Lot 20A -- A student reported an unknown person(s) burglarized his parked vehicle between noon July 16 and 12:18 a.m. July 17.

Theft: 11:33 a.m. July 20, Moores School of Music Building first floor -- Complainants reported an unknown person(s) stole UH keys and a bank debit card from their unsecured offices betweem 10:45 and 11:30 a.m.
