on tuition
The UH System universities will solicit student input
before increasing tuition for the fall semester, UH President and System
Chancellor Jay Gogue told a joint legislative committee in Austin on Wednesday.

Lady Cougars try to stay
perfect in C-USA
The Lady Cougars are out to a 3-0 start in C-USA play,
having grabbed three road victories, including an important win Sunday
against Texas Christian, ranked No. 21 by The Associated Press. Houston
(14-2 overall, 3-0 in conference) has a tough task ahead with two home
games against Cincinnati (10-8, 1-3) at 7 p.m. Friday and Louisville (10-7,
2-2) at noon Sunday.
Local artist fights banality
From the looks of Grant Olney and after getting a glimpse
of his sticker-plastered rear window, one might expect to hear the average
pop/indie rock that has plagued the local scene since New Found Glory hit
it big a couple years ago.
