Changes in UH refund
system scrapped
In addition to the typical hassles associated with the
first week of the semester, an estimated 4,000 students were left confused
and waiting for refund money while dealing with a change in the University's
refund system.
Provost candidate to speak in
forum
Luanna Meyer, a candidate for UH provost, will meet the
University today in an open forum at the University Hilton.
UH band ready for Super Bowl show
Fueling the spirit of the team and keeping the crowd
pumped is the mission of college marching bands nationwide. After motivating
the Cougars and UH fans during a winning football season, the Cougar Marching
Band will perform for the entire nation during the MTV-produced Super Bowl
XXXVIII Halftime Show on Sunday.
UH System affected by network
outage
The UH System experienced a computer network outage Friday
during which Internet users at all System universities had difficulty connecting
to UH servers.
