MyDoom worm latest
to hit UH
The MyDoom computer worm hit UH on Monday, part of what
is reported to be an attack on the Web site of a software maker.
Candidate is a senior adviser
at UC Davis
Cristina González, a candidate for UH provost,
will participate in an open forum today to discuss her academic experience
and vision as well as field questions from students, faculty and staff.
SGA will examine refund confusion
at meeting tonight
As some students are still attempting to figure out their
University refund troubles, the Student Government Association president
said sheill raise the issue in an attempt to find answers when the Senate
meets at 7 p.m. today in the UC Mediterranean Room.
Library construction is late,
but on budget
Save for some kinks in its construction schedule and
a few more twists and turns for students, everything from fund-raising
to accessibility is going as planned for the M.D. Anderson Memorial Libraryis
$45 million expansion and renovation project, Dean of Libraries Dana Rooks
said.
Donations will improve UH art
program, support 31 students
The Art Department has received two donations totaling
$56,500 that will provide financial assistance to graduate students who
need more time to focus on their textbooks instead of their checkbooks.
