Debate highlights Pledge, religious
issues
Students and faculty filled the Law Center's Krost Hall
auditorium Wednesday to hear two religious experts' interpretations of
the Founding Fathers' intentions on separating church and state.
UHV names interim president
Smith's term will begin Sunday but will be officially
approved by the UH System Board of Regents on Feb. 19. Karen Haynes, former
UHV president, will take the presidency of California State University
San Marcos on Monday.
Most fraternity, sorority problems
are the result of alcohol abuse, former judge says
Fraternity houses are places to get drunk and meet chicks.
Sorority girls are snobby blondes with Daddy's credit cards. And in general,
Greeks only care about themselves and live every day to party every night.
