halftime 'exposure' no accident
Oh, MTV. You're such a canny,
savvy corporate monster. You engineer publicity with the utmost aplomb.
At the 2003 Video Music Awards, you had Madonna and Britney Spears kiss.
Add to that the humiliated reaction shot of Justin Timberlake, Spears'
ex-boyfriend, and you've got the continuation of an ongoing feud, which
is always darn good TV.

Alter egos say the darndest
things.
For the past three years,
some of you have known me simply as the "The Trashman," a foul-mouthed
sports columnist devoted to, among other things, belittling our weekly
football opponents.
Good
weekend eating hard to find
This semester, I made the
decision not to go home for any reason, save emergencies or a lack of money
on my Cougar 1Card for laundry. There were several factors that led to
this decision, not the least of which is the fact that I'm finding it harder
to get along with my family for extended periods of time.
