Cougars
should make a big climb after two big victories
What a Valentine's Day.
The Lady Cougars were forced to spend the holiday on the road, but they
book-ended Feb. 14 with two victories. The team may get a late present
later this week when the new national rankings are released.
Rain
can't dampen Cougars' shining start
Friday's rain delay couldn't
stop the Cougar softball team from parading all over the opponents they
saw on the field at the Hilton Plaza Cougar Invitational on Saturday.
Cougar
offense is still MIA
Houston still can't find
a way a to consistently win in Conference USA, and the team had no answers
for the superior inside play of the Blue Demons.
Cougars
impress despite 1-2 start
The Houston baseball team
won its season opener Friday against Kansas State, but that was the lone
bright spot of the weekend as the Cougars fell to 1-2 at the Minute Maid
Park College Classic.
