UHS
utility costs may jump 50 percent
Along with rises in tuition
and other fees, the University expects that utility bills for the UH System
could increase by 50 percent when the System's contract with Reliant Energy
expires in May.
Veterans'
office led by a student
The UH Veterans' Services Office is under the direction
of a student interim coordinator following the unexpected departure of
its former director just before Christmas.
Library
fee will rise by $3 over two years
The student library fee will increase by $3 over the
next two years, reaching $9 per semester credit hour by Fall 2005, despite
concerns from the Student Government Association president.
SGA
told to re-work its student fee proposal
The Student Fees Advisory Committee cut the Student Government
Association's hearing short Tuesday because the committee found errors
in the SGA's budget, including the way it was formatted. |
