Campus Spotlight


FRIDAY

Humankind: The American Humanics Nonprofit Certificate Program will meet at noon in Room 439, Social Work. For more information, send e-mail to ahsa_uh@yahoo.com.

Fuel cells: The Department of Chemical Engineering will host a seminar at 10:30 a.m. in Room W122-D3, Cullen College of Engineering. The seminar, titled "Direct-hydrocarbon solid oxide fuel cells," will be given by Steven McIntosh, professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Paint the town red: Alpha Psi Lambda, Inc. a co-ed Latino fraternity, will have several rush events this week, including a night out. Interested students should meet at 10 p.m. at the UC. For more information, call Rachel at (713) 743-2845.

Dancing: The African American Honors Students Association presents the Atunda Cultural Dance Troupe at 6 p.m. in the UC. Tickets are $10 for students with a portion of the proceeds benefiting charity. For more information, contact Crystal at (281) 235-7204 or aahsa_uh@hotmail.com.
