Boredom
still rules February box office
Well, it's another boring
winter weekend at the box office, and there doesn't even seem to be anything
good on TV.
'Noises'
serves up delicious laughter
The acting is woeful, the
director is hapless and the play itself is marred by cliches and shallow
characters.
'Eurotrip'
finds success
The producers made a satisfying
profit from Road Trip and Old School, so they couldn't resist
the temptation to force Eurotrip on the masses. And it worked just
as well. A full house laughed its heart away at the stereotypical Europeans
and clapped for more erotic adventures.
Alley
audience laughs and learns
When the lights began to
flash in the lobby at the Alley Theatre on Saturday night members of the
small audience flooded into the Neuhaus Stage uncertain of what to expect
from the one-man show Buford Gomez: Tales of the Right-Wing Border Patrol
Officer. The title conjures up images that had patrons wondering how
a writer for Mad TV would present an ultra-conservative Mexican officer
who watches the border for illegal immigrants.
Rock
reps red, white, blue
Eagles, fire, cowboy hats
and rebel flags ... Fully living up to his "American badass" nickname,
Kid Rock's Houston performance of the Rock 'n' Roll Pain Train 2004 Tour
showed the artist's true colors ? red, white and blue.
