Interim Provost Jerald Strickland, the head of the search committee for the position, announced Monday that the candidates are Deborah Read, vice president for university advancement at Northern Kentucky University; Malcolm Woodall, former vice president for institutional advancement at Loyola University in New Orleans; Spencer Yantis, who is currently filling the position on an interim basis at UH; and Daniel Hendricks, vice president and chief development officer of the Louisiana State University Foundation. Yantis has been interim head of university advancement since Ileana V.
