Cougar News Services

Four candidates for vice president and vice chancellor for university advancement for UH and the UH System will visit the campus in the coming days.

Interim Provost Jerald Strickland, the head of the search committee for the position, announced Monday that the candidates are Deborah Read, vice president for university advancement at Northern Kentucky University; Malcolm Woodall, former vice president for institutional advancement at Loyola University in New Orleans; Spencer Yantis, who is currently filling the position on an interim basis at UH; and Daniel Hendricks, vice president and chief development officer of the Louisiana State University Foundation.

Yantis has been interim head of university advancement since Ileana V. Treviño left the University for the private sector in August.
