Lady Cougars go
on the road for C-USA action
The Lady Cougars go on the road this
weekend for further Conference USA action, facing foes Cincinnati today,
then Louisville on Sunday.
C-USA coaches pick UH to finish
5th this season
In a 2005 Conference USA preseason
poll, the Cougar baseball squad was picked to finish fifth with one player
chosen to the Preseason All Conference Team.
Manning can reach the bowl despite
criticism
In a recent article written by Chicago
Sun-Times sports columnist Jay Mariotti, also known from his regular appearances
on ESPN's Around the Horn, Mariotti said that Payton Manning "can't win
the big one."
Old Astro's disloyalty is beyond
money
Ironically, while it turns out the
original Deep Throat showed the moral fiber that made his code name an
ill-fit moniker, those who have followed his words' seem to be much more
apt for it.
