THURSDAY Friday morning science special: The Department
of Chemical Engineering will host Jason B. Baxter, a professor of chemical
engineering at the University of California-Santa Barbara, who will give
a talk titled "ZnO nanowire dye-sensitized solar cells" at 10:30 a.m. in
Room W122-D3, Cullen College of Engineering.
SATURDAY Art for a good cause: Carolyn Houston Boone
and Rutherford Cravens, two UH theater professors, will perform in A.R.
Gurney--s Love Letters at 7 p.m. in the Lyndall Finley Wortham Theatre.
The performance will be a fundraiser for victims of the recent tsunami
in Asia.
