UH awaits approval
for state funds
Though the state has more money than
it did in the last legislative session, it's still too early to predict
how much of the UH System's more than $300 million in appropriations requests
will be met.
Enrollment outpaces Legislature's
fiscal increases for state universities
The 79th Texas Legislature will have
to juggle the mental health system, education finance and property taxes
on top of funding for higher education.
